I earned my home inspector's certification from HomeSpection Training Institute located in Canton, Ohio – the only such school in the country to provide TOTAL hands-on training for its students.
President and Faculty Instructor Joe Jefferys brings 37 years of industry experience to his classroom, and provides unending support to his former students. I encourage you to check out HomeSpection Training Institute for yourself.
I am a member in good standing of International Association of Certifed Home Inspectors, the world's largest nonprofit association of residential and commercial property inspectors. InterNACHI provides its members with accredited training and education, free benefits, expert advice and peer support--all to help inspectors serve their clients with the highest-quality inspections for their largest investments.
As an InterNACHI inspector:
I am required to stay up to date with the industry's most rigorous online Continuing Education and video training courses which have been awarded hundreds of approvals and accreditations by state and governmental agencies.
I adhere to a comprehensive Standards of Practice http://www.nachi.org/sop.htm.
I abide by a strict Code of Ethics, which puts my clients FIRST http://www.nachi.org/code_of_ethics.htm.
I use state-of-the-art inspection tools and reporting software so that my clients can make informed decisions about homes they want to buy or sell.
As a member of the United States Air Force, I lived by the ethics codes "Integrity First" and "Service Before Self" and have carried those attitudes into my business. When you hire me to perform your inspection, I will be honored to receive both your business and your trust. I will be looking out for YOUR best interests, and yours alone.
Home inspectors must abide by minimum standards, but I have never been one to do only the minimum. While I may not be required to walk the roof of a house, I most certainly will if I find it safe and appropriate to do so. While I may not be required to inspect the kitchen appliances, I most certainly will if it is applicable to the situation.
I've staked my family's name on my business, and I do not take that lightly. This is my profession, I do it full-time, and I love it.
